Operational Guidance
Implementing trauma-informed frameworks for schools I've designed a comprehensive trauma-informed consulting practice tailored for educational institutions. This framework empowers schools to create safe and nurturing environments for all students, particularly those affected by trauma. By integrating principles of trauma-informed care into the educational setting, schools can better support their communities and enhance student outcomes. The consulting process includes workshops, training sessions, and ongoing support, ensuring that educators are equipped with the necessary tools and strategies to foster resilience and promote healing. This initiative has significantly improved the engagement and well-being of both students and staff in participating schools across the country.
Inclusion and Equity
I've been honored to lead schools in developing and implementing equity and inclusion practices that promote a sense of belonging for all students. These initiatives involved comprehensive assessments of existing practices and the creation of tailored action plans. Through collaborative workshops and one-on-one coaching, educators were equipped to address systemic barriers and foster an inclusive environment. The positive results of this initiative included improved student engagement, increased diversity in school activities, and stronger partnerships with families and communities. School leaders reported a more cohesive and supportive atmosphere for both students and staff.
